IBSF World Cup nominees include a German squad

Felix Keisinger’s return to the World Cup is cause for celebration, as is the debut of Junior World Champion Susanne Kreher
Winterberg/Berchtesgaden (RWH) (RWH) The squad representing the Bobsleigh and Sledding Federation for Germany (BSD) will compete in the BMW IBSF World Cup 2022/2023. Skeleton Olympic Champions Hannah Neise and Christopher Grotheer, as well as silver medalist Axel Jungk, will be leading the charge for this endeavor.
According to a news statement issued by the federation, Felix Keisinger gained the third starting slot for the men’s competition, edging out Alexander Gassner by a narrow margin. Keisinger, who finished fourth overall in the 2020 World Cup and won the title of Junior World Champion in both 2019 and 2020, is enjoying his return to the World Cup after an absence of around 15 months. The 24-year-old finished in third place in the Intercontinental Cup during the previous season.
Tina Hermann, a four-time World Champion in the women’s skeleton competition, is about to begin her eighth season competing in the World Cup. For the very first time, Susanne Kreher was put forth for consideration for the third and final starting spot.
The Junior World Champion was victorious against Jacqueline Lolling, who had won the silver medal at the 2018 Olympic Games in PyeongChang. Lolling, who won the World Championship in 2017 and has won the overall World Cup three times, will begin the new season competing in the Intercontinental Cup.
